Microchip: A conscious choice as well as a legal obligation.

The application of the microchip is a simple and quick procedure, which does not require anaesthesia.

The advantages are:

- Identification of your pet: dog, cat, ferret etc. (for passport, rabies vaccination ..)

- Identification of the owner (recovery of lost animals but also protects against abandonment)

- Prevention against theft or abduction

The application of the Microchip is mandatory by law in the dog, with the consequent registration to the regional canine registry.

The application of the microchip is strongly recommended even in cats (and in some cases mandatory). The cat will be enrolled in the Tuscan regional registry as required by law and doctors of the Veterinary Clinic Colombo will also provide, at no additional cost to enrol your cat to the National Feline Registry.
