Hospitalisation

HOSPITALISATION SERVICE

ASSISTANCE AND MONITORING FOR ALL CONDITIONS

The hospital rooms are large, bright and clean and the animals are constantly checked by the medical staff at night. Dogs, when clinical conditions allow it, are taken out at least 4 times a day. Cats are kept as far away from sources of stress as possible and managed with the utmost respect for their mental and physical wellbeing. The treatment of hospitalised patients is not only made up of monitoring and therapies, but also considers the psychological well-being of the animal with the aim of making it feel at ease even in times of stress.

The Colombo Veterinary Clinic is the first clinic in Italy to have participated in the project "Zooantropologia in Clinica" SIUA (School Interaction Animal Man). The project involves the training of medical personnel by experienced professionals in the behavioural sector in order to gain a correct understanding and management of the interaction with our patients during all the phases of interaction with the vet (visit, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, hospital stay ). A competent management for the psychophysical health of our patients.
