Dr. A. Fondati, graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pisa, has been dealing with dermatology for many years and in 1998 she obtained the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology, ie the highest professional recognition obtainable in Europe in the field of veterinary clinical dermatology. Working in Florence, Padua and Rome. She has also been a professor of veterinary dermatology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​where she obtained a PhD with her studies on the feline eosinophilic granuloma complex.

The consulting service offered by Dr. Fondati is aimed at dogs and cats with problems of skin, coat, ears and nails and provides, in addition to the appointment when deemed necessary, invstigations including microscopic, cytological and bacteriological examinations, allergy tests and skin biopsies. It is advisable, if possible, for the dog and the cat to be fasting (for at least 12 hours) and not to apply any medicine on the skin, or to bathe the dog, in the 2 days before the visit.
